Blade and Rose at Armstrong Ward – these absolutely irresistible leggings and tees have just been restocked in Armstrong Ward, one of the first independent stockists to support this locally designed brand.
Here’s how Blade & Rose describe themselves: “a leading British children’s clothing brand specialising in a trendsetting range of leggings and clothing accessories…each piece of the collection is unique and has the trademark design on the bum.”
And those designs really do look truly adorable with a bum inside of them!
Designer, Amanda, says that a major component of the brand’s development was to ensure that the quality of the fabric was durable, functional, would wash well and most importantly, was soft and kind to children’s delicate skin. This fits exactly with the Armstrong Ward ethos of finding unique, high quality products. You’ll definitely find it hard to walk by their latest display.
The Blade & Rose selection on the shelves now includes leggings in 0-6 months, 6-12 months, and 1-2 years. They’re £10 per pair and available in rainbow, tractor, flamingo, pirate, classic car, daisies, and unicorn. You really will have trouble choosing just the right pair for your little one’s legs.
And newly stocked are the accompanying tees in daisy, tractor and flamingo. The sizing range is slightly different with options for 6-9 months, 9-12 months and 12-18 months available at £15 each.
Of course, those of us who don’t have tinies of our own to buy for will be just as happy gifting a pair of the leggings or/and – let’s be honest it is more likely to be ‘and’ – a tee.
As high street finds become more identikit, it’s always good to have an independent store stocking unique brands as a go to. And we recommend going to Armstrong Ward (just opposite Booths supermarket in Wainwright’s Yard).
