Imagine floor to ceiling windows dressed beautifully with seasonal goodies in the heart of Kendal. With a newly vacant unit to let, we could be home to your business.
Wainwright’s Yard is filled with a great mix of shops and cafes – some independent, some family run, and some big brands too.
Whether you’re searching for that perfect relocation, or you’re about to make your independent business owner dreams a reality – we could be the right spot for you.
The unit is right in the middle of the Yard. Friendly neighbours include family-run Booths supermarket, high street brand Crew Clothing and restaurant chain Pizza Express.
Our independent shops are all a little different which is what makes them stand out from the crowd. If you’re after some inspiration from one of our longest-standing owners, call into Armstrong Ward. Husband and wife team Jacqueline and Andrew’s story spans 15 years; in which, they’ve grown from 35 supplier products on one floor, to a two-storey emporium of 200 makers with a café and busy online store for those that can’t make it to the town. It’s definitely a place that you just can’t leave empty-handed, but what they’re most proud of is the loyalty, friendship and sense of community that has grown within the shop.
Just over a year ago we welcomed Pomegranate and Sage to the Yard. A contemporary deli where owner, Tony, takes his foodie inspiration from a previous career travelling the world. The buzz around this deli really adds to the lively atmosphere in the Yard.
Lakeland kitchens are the latest to join us (March 2019). They’re a longstanding family run business who craft and install beautifully designed kitchens and bedrooms.
If you want to find out more about retailing in Kendal and joining the team of tenants in this lovely Yard, the letting particulars are available at Emanuel Oliver on 0151 236 6700 (and they are on twitter @EOproperty)
