Vegan options are marked with a Ve on the menu and there are more than 20 options to choose from.
Their pizza bases are completely free from animal and dairy products and are suitable for both vegetarians and vegans.
Their famous passata sauce is made from tomatoes, salt, pepper, fresh basil and oregano.
All of their pizzas are made by hand and can be ordered without some the toppings listed on the menu by request, simply ask for them to be left off or for a swap for your preferred choice.
Pizza Express offer a vegan mozzarella alternative*, free from gluten, soya, nuts, preservatives, palm oil. It is also suitable for those with a reduced dairy diet.

The obvious place to start is with a vegan version of the much-loved dough balls, although some of the new additions may be tempting enough to sway you. How about Baked Garlic Mushroom – a whole Portobello mushroom, garlic, vegan mozzarella alternative, rosemary and smoky tomato harissa with rocket, pine kernels and balsamic dressing? Or Rosemary & Garlic Flatbread with Houmous?

As you’d expect, there are plenty of pizza options for vegan diners from the classic Margherita to the Giardiniera – with artichoke, mushrooms, red onion and black olives, tomato, vegan mozzarella alternative, garlic oil and parsley on a Romana base. And there’s a delicious pasta option in the Leggera Peperonata – a penne pasta dish with roasted mixed peppers, passata, rosemary, chilli flakes, garlic, rocket and parsley, which also happens to be less than 600 calories per portion.
