Notice anything DIFFERENT?

Last Monday Pizza Express stayed up all night to bring us the biggest brand refresh in their 46 year history and by Tuesday morning the eye-catching new look was on show in our very own Wainwright’s Yard branch.

Celebrating the art of pizza making, the restyle is all about STRIPES. Black & white ones, in fact, inspired by the shirts of their fabulous pizzaiolos (pizza chefs). Pizza Express founder, Peter Boizot, introduced the stripy t-shirts as part of the uniform back in the 60s, in celebration of his favourite pizzaiolo, Benito from Naples, who always wore a striped shirt.

Today, the new look stripes reflect the company’s roots and their desire to remain authentic. Oh! And they look great too! Which is good news, because we think that eating in stylish surroundings is as important as the mouthwatering food itself...Well almost!

To complement the new look there are some exciting new dishes to try, such as, Classic Italian Antipasto, the new Pomodoro Pesto pizza and the scrumptious Chocolate Fudge Cake Dolcetti.

It's all in the detail and with so many subtle changes you may not notice them all at once. Come in and see if you can spot the differences.
