If you’re looking for things to do in Kendal or ways to promote local events, Wainwright’s Yard is here to help connect our community.

We’re proud to support community events in Kendal by offering free advertising space on one of our digital screens and shop noticeboards.

Whether you’re organising a workshop, charity fundraiser, performance or local gathering, our displays provide a
simple way to share your event with people visiting the Yard and the wider town centre.

You’ll find noticeboards in Another Weigh and Booths, and one of our seven digital screens in the tunnel entrance connecting Wainwright’s Yard with Kendal High Street is dedicated tonot-fo-profit groups and organisations.

The screen is positioned to be easily seen by visitors moving between the Yard and the town centre.

Just as importantly, they’re also a great place for visitors to discover what’s happening in and around Kendal while they shop, meet friends, or pass through the Yard. From workshops and live music to charity events, there’s always something happening in our local community.

Advertise your local event on our digital screens

Community groups are welcome to advertise their events on our digital screens throughout the year. Thanks to our new system, the number of adverts available to each group is unlimited, and events can be promoted across multiple days or weeks.

Your advert will appear:
– Daily from 7 am – 11 pm
– For 30 seconds to 1 minute
– Approximately every 10 minutes
You can also submit a short video (up to 1.5 minutes) if you prefer.

Artwork and submission details

Our digital screens support adverts with images, logos and short text (up to 30 words). You can also include a QR code or website link so people can quickly learn more about your event.

Artwork specifications:
– Size: Landscape format (1920 × 1080 pixels)
– Image formats: JPG or PNG
– Video formats: MP4, AVI, WMV, MOV

Please send your artwork to Ten Stories 48–72 hours before the first date you’d like it to appear. If you can also confirm the start and end dates, we’ll schedule your advert to automatically display during that time.
